How many disaster movies begin with Global Warming being the cause of global disaster? Too many, because the Left are not really that creative. And Climate Change is some FIRST CLASS BULLSHIT.
I am not saying that the project of the Left, which is spread by talk of Socialism, Climate Change and Identity Politics, is bullshit. The project, which is strangely connected to Globalism (strange that Marxists have aliened with Capitalists) is serious. It’s no joke that the rest of us are merely cogs or obstacles for the current and future supercharged Ruling Class.
Shining light on things, something conservatives would like to see in the media, seems reasonable. But you don’t get rich and famous by doing that. Millions of people tune in to the MSM with the human desire to be informed. They are taken advantage of by wealthy connected players that make a very good living on ad revenues and B.S.
TRUTH IS BEAUTY AND BEAUTY IS TRUTH still applies to those of us who are repelled by B.S. We don’t like it in politics or art. We know ART IS A LIE, but it’s supposed to make you see the truth, not obscure it.
A great musician that I knew and studied with once old me that when I play “Don’t Bullshit.” It’s a subjective judgement, but it means something to me.
I never cared much for politicians speechifying even as a young liberal. After my foray into politics as a political organizer on the campus of Columbia University, I remained quite radical and thought Clinton too moderate. But I saw that he was a first-class bullshitter and people loved it. He was better than the evil Republicans, so his method was working. Power is the goal of both sides. It’s the reasons for victory that are so different between conservatives and progressives. Clinton was good, but Obama was the greatest.(bullshitter)
We like Trump’s honesty and forthrightness, the Left hate it. True, he’s a showman and salesman, but he is generally on the right side and focused on the working and middle classes. That’s still in the rhetoric of the Left, but they don’t care anymore about such mundane things as living standards. And they never gave a damn about the truth.
